Swallow Studios

Swallow Studios – Hand-Crafted Textiles  is located in Annayalla Co Monaghan. It is workshop to textile artist and hand-weaver Liz Christy,  a colourful gem surrounded by rolling drumlin hills and hidden lakes.

Well known for her colourful hand-woven scarves Liz is inspired by art and in particular, paintings by her favourite painter, Claude Monet. She has also designed a collection of scarves inspired by her much loved drumlins hills of County Monaghan and of course, the beautiful Bragan, the raised bog mountain in the north of the county.

Very proud of her county’s lace making heritage, Liz has designed a range which is a tribute to that heritage, The Renaissance Collection which is a woven lace using fine cottons and authentic Donegal spun wools.
