Must-Visit Workshop

Our special workshop is a must-visit for anyone who loves colour and all textures woolly! In the traditions of Ireland’s Ancient East, a friendly welcome awaits locals and tourists alike. Swallow Studios provides a wonderful multi-sensory experience for visitors. The vivid colours, the sights of hand-dyeing and hand-weaving, the scents of the dyes and fabrics, the clacking of the flying shuttles and the quiet concentration of threading all fill this creative, evocative space. 

Visitors can chat with our artisan team as they work on a multitude of bright and beautiful scarves and other products. They gain a sense of our entire hand-crafting process, from the hand-dyeing using pots to the glorious ribbons of colour being hand-woven at the manual looms.
