Our group tours offer an immersive experience into the world of hand-weaving, ideal for a variety of groups including women’s associations, men’s sheds, and special interest clubs. Participants will observe the hand-weaving process in a working studio, learn about the techniques and inspirations behind the textiles, engage with skilled artisans to ask questions, and explore a collection of handcrafted scarves and accessories, making it a rich and engaging cultural visit.

Our School Tours are relevant to Primary School children in 5th and 6th Class. Secondary School student studying Art, Home Economics and Business Studies benefit from the tour experience. Transition Year Students may also find the studios interesting and we at times arrange work experience. Pre-booking is essential. Maximum number of students is 20 per tour. Textile and Fashion students may apply for work experience at Liz Christy Studios.
