The Bragan Herringbone Scarf – Portnoo Red is inspired by the beautiful raised bogland of north Monaghan, Slieve Beagh, locally known as ‘The Bragan’. ‘Bragan’ straddles the border with Fermanagh and Tyrone in Northern Ireland. It is a place where we love to breathe the fresh air, relax and be inspired by the colours of the landscape. This is one of the most beautiful places I know, from the purple heather to fluffy white bog cotton, deep shimmering lakes and ancient hedgerows. An evening motorbike ride under a frosty sky is a real treat under the sparkling Orion.
This scarf is a classic, with a heritage feel, and it is suitable for men and women to wear. It will have a special resonance for those with a connection to Slieve Beagh, especially for those who gathered turf, north and south.
