Hand-weaving is an age-old craft, and our looms are powered by nothing but human energy.
Each scarf passes through the weaver’s hands many times, designing, warping, weaving, knotting, and washing – crafted entirely by hand in our studio, tucked among the drumlin hills of County Monaghan.
Every piece is unique, as is the land that inspired it.
The drumlins of Monaghan were shaped by retreating glaciers, which left behind gentle, elongated hills tracing the path of the ice. This softly rolling landscape finds its echo in my woven textiles. The undulating herringbone pattern, paired with fine, organic Donegal wool, creates waves of colour and texture ~ capturing the quiet rhythm of the land in every thread.
